Enable the Shopify storefront

Connect product configuration to your actual theme.

  1. 01

    Open the theme editor

    In Shopify, open Online Store → Themes and edit the theme you want to use. Make changes on a development theme first when possible.

  2. 02

    Enable the integration

    In App embeds, enable 3D Customizer Button and save the theme. Use its Button Position setting to choose where the customization button appears.

  3. 03

    Check the configured product

    Open the product page with its intended variant and language. Verify the customization action appears and opens the editor.

  4. 04

    Check the return to cart

    Create a sample design, review it and continue to the cart. Verify the cart actually includes the intended variant and design reference.

Check your result

Enable the app embed in each theme you intend to use and check a configured product on that theme. This guide covers Shopify’s Online Store; a headless storefront needs a separate integration.
