A 14-day trial is available for eligible new installations. Shopify displays your applicable trial and charges during approval.
Optional AI image creation requires your own provider account. That provider bills usage separately from your Custom3D subscription.

Good questions. Practical answers.
Can I turn off text and colors?
Yes. Set the allowed customization types for each product zone. An image-only zone can hide text, shapes and color controls.
Can I lock the image size?
Yes. Configure a fixed image frame with width and height in design coordinates. This constrains artwork size; it is not a promise of a physical print size in millimeters.
Can customers use only the 3D view?
Yes. Configure the allowed customer views and choose 3D as the only view. A working 3D model is required.
What assets do I need?
A configured product needs the relevant 2D artwork or 3D model and editable zones. The model upload accepts GLB and glTF; a self-contained GLB keeps model assets together.
Which languages are available?
The app and customer editor support English, Spanish and Catalan. Choose a language here to explore the site and setup guides.
Are there product limits or extra charges?
Yes. Starter supports 10 configured products, Business 25, Pro 50 and Enterprise unlimited. Additional customization usage charges apply. Review the billing terms shown by Shopify.
Can a customer return to a design?
Supported draft recovery works on the same device and is scoped to the store, product and variant. Browser storage must be available. It is separate from a saved design linked to an order.
Is AI required for every product?
No. AI image creation is optional per product and independent of 2D/3D views. Enable it and add instructions only for the products that need it.
Can I reopen the design from an order?
Yes, where saved design assets are available. Review the order item, open its saved 3D view and download source artwork, production PNG or personalized GLB as provided. Older or 2D designs may not have every file.
Can I try it before installing?
Use our public workflow sandbox. It illustrates the controls on a sample product and never creates an order or grants access to a merchant account.
